While Madden 2010 is currently occupying the time of gamers who solely play sports games, the folks at 2K Sports would like to interrupt the program already in progress. Set for release tomorrow on XBox Live Arcade and September 3rd on the Playstation Network, NBA 2K10: Draft Combine will allow gamers to create their own custom NBA player and participate in the draft combine in front of league talent evaluators at the Attack Athletics mega-basketball compound in Chicago.

While working with your mentor, the 2K insider, you’ll display your skills through drills and scrimmages in hopes of improving your draft stock. When NBA 2k10 – the joint with Kobe on the cover – is released, your player will be imported into the all-new My Player mode where you go through the NBA Draft and begin your career in the NBA.
For 400 Microsoft points (about $5), you get a game that includes:
When 2K10 is released October 6th, there will little - if any – motivation to continue playing Draft Combine, but who cares when you’re getting one of the more robust game demos we’ve ever seen which also features elements that the user will be able to carry over to the full version of the game.
For the price of a bad sub.
Involvement.

This is friggin’ awesome. I used to create players on NBA Live…from the socks to the head bands. Then move them up through the ranks as a rookie into the league. Sometimes I used to let the computer play the game and watch his performance like a GM (when I had the time of course). But now they allow your to give them on court characteristics and import them into NBA2K. That’s ill. It’s def a one player game, something to do on the side.
Only thing, what NBA players are you playing against during the combine? All the pros are in places like Ibiza getting involved during the combine…hey-buddy.
*pauses rj’s create-a-headband excitement*
That’s pretty good Pause Police. You stay lurking. A headband used to mean that you were a ball player. I bet the Godfather of the Headband – Slick Watts brought his A game to the blacktop back in the day, so did Cliff Robinson, so does Paul Pierce and so does BD. If you’re pausepolice.com then I’m questioning your credentials to pause anybody right now. I see you have a niche audience and you do well but do you really enjoy posting questionable content on the daily? Somebody’s gotta do it…I get it. Actually that pic of Glen Davis is totally unacceptable. Totally. He should be reprimanded. I’m gonna have to shoot back on yer site pretty soon tho. You set it off. Lol.
